About The Role
Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Fitness Supervisor to inspire wellness and lead an exceptional fitness experience within our world-class Center for Health & Wellbeing. In this dynamic role, you’ll motivate guests through personal training and group fitness instruction while overseeing daily operations, mentoring a passionate team, and creating innovative programs that help guests look and feel their best. What You Will Do
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the fitness center, including training and scheduling full-time, part-time, and per diem staff whose positions include exercise physiologist, exercise specialist, personal trainer, group fitness instructors, and fitness attendants to successfully operate the fitness center and fitness programs.
- Must be able to conduct personal training sessions, fitness consultations and/or group fitness classes for approximately 8-10 hours per week on a regular basis
- Be recognized expert of the Center; an essential part of an integrated health and wellbeing team that provides comprehensive fitness, medical, nutritional, life balance, and spa services.
- Possess a high level of attention to detail to maintain a meticulously clean and tidy fitness facility (including the fitness center, fitness studios, fitness locker rooms, indoor pool, KFAS/TFAS) as instructed by the Operations Manager.
- Handle all guest interactions with warmth, professionalism, and a focus on creating exceptional wellness experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field preferred.
- Nationally recognized certification in Personal Training or Corrective Exercise (NASM, ACSM, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fitness, including at least one year in a supervisory or management role.
- Proven ability to design creative, safe, and effective fitness programs for diverse populations, including mature adults.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills with a passion for health education.
- People-oriented with a positive attitude, professional appearance, and excellent customer service skills.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
- Hourly Rate: $23.16 Commission
