About the Role: As a Resort Assistant Manager at Four Seasons Hotels Limited, you will have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction.Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Front Office operation, ensuring seamless execution of guest arrival, departure, and billing processes.
- Interview, train, and schedule staff, conducting performance evaluations and addressing performance issues when necessary.
- Coordinate arrivals, departures, and billing requirements for all guests, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with financial and credit procedures, following up on credit problems with the Director of Front Office and/or Credit Manager.
- Resolve customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, providing exceptional hospitality and professionalism.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, assigning rooms according to their preferences and charging the correct rate.
- Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in other areas, such as Concierge, Bell Staff, Business Center, and lobby coverage.
- Innovate and discover new techniques to improve efficiency and heighten the guest experience.
- Schedule employees, manage vacation requests, and ensure scheduling aligns with the Union CBA.
- Implement strategic planning, execution, and motivation within the Front Office to ensure guests receive the best guest experience when inquiring about upgrades.
