About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and service‑driven Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our Residence Club Seasons Restaurant team. This Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, supporting daily operations, and maintaining Four Seasons‑level service standards. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, proactive, and committed to fostering a positive and professional work environment.
What You Will Do
- Supervise and support employees during set‑up, service, and breakdown to maintain seamless operations.
- Communicate shift goals effectively and delegate responsibilities to the team.
- Assist in expediting food orders to uphold Four Seasons timing and presentation standards.
- Inspect and verify completion of all side work procedures before service begins.
- Submit and follow up on work orders to maintain proper functioning of all kitchen equipment.
- Provide continuous training and development for servers, server assistants, and other service staff.
- Maintain high levels of motivation, morale, and engagement within the Front‑of‑House team.
- Support a clean, safe, and organized working environment throughout all service areas.
- Act as the Manager‑on‑Duty in the absence of leadership.
- Respond appropriately to emergency or safety situations within the Residence Club.
- Perform additional tasks or projects assigned by Residence Club management.
- Maintain a clean, inviting, and visually appealing physical environment for guests and staff.
- Ensure service staff consistently meet Four Seasons guest‑service standards, including guest name recognition and personalized service.
- Oversee the Barista counter, ensuring food freshness and proper operation of espresso equipment.
- Document operational glitches accurately and follow up promptly to resolve issues.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all food and beverage offerings.
- Leading pre‑shift meetings to communicate updates, policies, and service focus areas.
- Maintaining operational logs regarding equipment needs, guest issues, and staff updates.
- Collaborating with other departments—including Housekeeping, Engineering, Stewarding, and Laundry—to support seamless guest experiences.
- Understanding all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and proper service techniques.
- Creating staff schedules and submitting them for manager approval.
- Updating staff information boards with schedules, events, and relevant communication.
- Hosting during service by greeting guests, managing seating, and ensuring all guest information is relayed accurately to the team.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Previous supervisory or management experience, preferred
- Food and beverage service experience preferred
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have a valid California Driver’s License
- RBS and San Diego County Food Handlers (not required upon hire)
