- Plans and lays out the needed routing, placement, slant, pitch, incline, elevation & slope and fall of sewage, water, steam and gas distribution systems and equipment. The person must know how to plan, layout and install a complete water, steam, air vacuum and gas supply system, including equipment installation along with valves, regulators, expansion joints, condensate and circulating pumps and other controlling or regulating devices, including the routing, slope, slant, levels, location of arrangement of the various control points, etc.
