Guest Service Agent - Food & Beverage

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent/Food & Beverage Team Member to join our team at Four Points. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, supporting food and beverage operations, and ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries efficiently while delivering excellent food and beverage service.

Duties

• Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a friendly and professional check-in experience.
• Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
• Answer phone calls promptly and assist guests with inquiries regarding accommodations, amenities, dining options, and local attractions.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Perform night audit duties as required, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, food and beverage offerings, policies, and local events to provide accurate information to guests.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout their stay.
• Assist in maintaining the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times.
• Running nightly audit reports.
• Set up, replenish, and maintain breakfast, bar, or other food and beverage service areas in accordance with hotel standards.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages while ensuring quality presentation and adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Take food and beverage orders, process payments accurately, and provide attentive, friendly service to guests.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining, bar, and kitchen service areas.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a front desk, guest relations, or food and beverage role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous.
• Experience with food handling, point-of-sale (POS) systems, or bar and restaurant operations is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate a variety of guests.
• A commitment to providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of resort operations, food and beverage service, and hotel amenities is a plus.
• Ability to multitask between front desk responsibilities and food and beverage operations while maintaining exceptional service standards.
