Duties

• Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations with a variety of hot and cold items, ensuring freshness and presentation appeal
• Replenish food items promptly and maintain cleanliness of all food preparation and serving areas
• Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu options, and provide friendly, attentive service
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for guest transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain high standards of food handling, safety, and sanitation in accordance with health regulations
• Clear tables, bus dishes, and assist with general cleaning duties to uphold a tidy dining environment
• Support catering or banquet setups when needed, including meal preparation and presentation

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience or food preparation background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hospitality roles like host/hostess or catering enhances your candidacy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, dietary accommodations, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in meal setup and cleanup
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude to contribute to a lively work environment
