What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Services Agent - PM Shift position at Four Points by Sheraton Orlando Convention Center?

Our Front Desk is the heart of the hotel, and no two days are exactly the same. We're looking for someone who can confidently multitask, stay organized, and provide exceptional service even during our busiest moments. The ideal candidate is proactive, enjoys solving problems, communicates well with both guests and teammates, and can make sound decisions while maintaining a positive attitude. Before you apply, please make sure you meet these requirements:
- This shift is 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
- You must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- You must be able to stand and walk for an entire 8-hour shift without accommodation.
- Up to 40hrs a week but schedule is based on business needs.
- You must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 15 lbs.
- You need to be comfortable making decisions, multitasking, and handling busy periods without getting overwhelmed.
What you'll be doing:
- Welcoming guests and creating a great first impression.
- Checking guests in and out quickly and accurately.
- Answering phones, responding to guest requests, and solving problems.
- Handling reservations, billing, and payment transactions.
- Working closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to make sure guests have a great stay.
- Promoting Marriott Bonvoy and hotel amenities.
- Following Marriott brand standards and hotel procedures.
- Keeping the Front Desk, Pantry and Package area organized and running smoothly throughout your shift.
