Duties
- Perform exterior painting tasks including surface preparation, scraping, sanding, priming, and painting buildings, fences, and other structures
- Complete interior painting projects such as walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces with attention to detail and finish quality
- Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces, covering fixtures, taping edges, and protecting surrounding areas
- Mix, match, and apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Inspect surfaces for damage and perform minor repairs such as patching holes or sealing cracks before painting
- Operate painting tools and equipment safely and maintain them in good working condition
- Load and unload materials such as paint, ladders, scaffolding, and supplies as needed
- Follow all safety procedures, especially when working at heights or with chemicals
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout each project
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Comfortabale working at heights, like ladders and scaffolding
- Reliable, dependable, and motivated to learn
- Ability to work in a team based environment and willingness to listen to instruction
- Strong attention ot detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and indoors in residential, commercial, or warehouse settings
- Physical stamina to stand, climb ladders, bend, and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on clean lines and high-quality finishes
- Willingness to learn painting techniques, surface preparation, and proper equipment use
- Basic knowledge of painting tools and materials is a plus, but not required (training provided)
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment
