Minimum Experience Requirements for Service Electrician
5 years in the electrical service field, including commercial/industrial maintenance or service. Other relevant experience would be work in the fields of HVAC, plumbing, lighting/appliance repair, and low voltage or telecommunication installations.
Additional Requirements and/or Expectations for Service Electrician
- Applicants must possess High School diploma or GED.
- Applicants must pass a mandatory drug screen.

Position Overview for Service Electrician
Specific job duties/responsibilities include the following:
- Industrial, commercial, and residential electrical systems repair, maintenance, and installation
- Troubleshooting
- Customer service
- Ability to handle service contracts, work orders, change orders, and billings
- Daily, weekly, and/or monthly reporting as requested by the department manager
- Periodic support of the company’s commercial construction operations as needed
- Increasing and/or promoting the company’s visibility and image in the community
- Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time by the department manager
