Your Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Procurement Administrator to support our electrical construction projects from our Spindale, NC office. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in procurement, supply chain, or construction operations.
In-depth training will be provided, and no prior electrical construction experience is required. You will learn to prepare material submittals, interpret construction documents, negotiate material packages, track deliveries, and communicate with vendors and internal project teams.
What You'll Do
- Create and organize electrical material submittals.
- Learn to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Request and distribute material tracking updates.
- Compile project closeout documentation.
- Negotiate small to medium-size material packages under guidance.
- Assist with commodity price tracking and reporting.
- Communicate professionally with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and ability to retain new information.
- Solid customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with electrical construction or electrical materials preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with procurement or administrative support roles preferred.
