POSTED ON 10/27/2025 CLOSED ON 1/21/2026

What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Product Designer / UX & UI position at FoundersCard?

Join us on our mission to empower entrepreneurs to access more, travel better and grow faster.

FoundersCard is the membership for ambitious entrepreneurs and leaders who value access, privileges and community. For entrepreneurs and leaders seeking both tangible rewards and a meaningful network, FoundersCard combines high-value benefits with a community that empowers members to access more, travel better, and connect with the people and ideas that elevate their success.

We’re entering an exciting new chapter of growth and innovation, and design is at the heart of it. As our Staff Product Designer (UX / UI), you will help reimagine the FoundersCard digital experience across web and mobile app. This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead end-to-end product design (UX & UI), user research, UX writing, and experimentation across our platform.

If you’re a hands-on design leader who thrives at the intersection of craft, strategy, and innovation and you want to help shape the future of a premium lifestyle business brand - we should talk!

What you'll do:

- Own and elevate the FoundersCard experience. Lead design across our core product surfaces (web, mobile, member dashboard), refining UX and UI to deliver a seamless, premium experience that aligns with our premium brand.

- Lead with craft and clarity. Design intuitive, elegant user flows using modern design tools. Deliver thoughtful interaction models and polished visual design. Work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure a high-quality implementation

- Drive user-centered innovation. Conduct generative and evaluative research (including user interviews, usability testing, and behavioral analysis) to deeply understand member needs, behaviors, and pain points.

- Uplevel the entire experience. Rethink navigation, benefit discovery, personalization, onboarding, and renewal flows using data and direct feedback from our members.

- Build a design system. Standardize components, patterns, and guidelines across platforms while advocating for simplicity, accessibility, and scalability.

- Prototype with the future in mind. Explore AI-driven interfaces, personalization strategies, and lightweight ML-enhanced tools to enrich the member experience.

- Partner closely with product, engineering, and marketing. Collaborate on product strategy, frequent growth experiments, and lifecycle initiatives. Be a key voice in defining our product roadmap.

- Champion design culture. Lead critiques, mentor junior designers (incl contractors), and foster cross-functional understanding of what great design can do.

What we're looking for:

- 6 years of product design experience (UX & UI), with some focus on premium consumer-facing (B2C) experiences

- A strong portfolio that showcases exceptional interaction design, UX research, and visual polish

- Demonstrated ability to conduct, synthesize, and apply user research—both qualitative and quantitative

- Experience with personalization, segmentation, or lifecycle UX is a strong plus

- Ability to play senior and junior roles - you'll both work on brand and visual identity as well as execute designs at pace

- Bias for speed - we are small and nimble. We can do in days what takes most teams weeks.

- A modern design toolkit and fluency in prototyping techniques, including with AI tools

- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/React) is a bonus

- An entrepreneurial mindset—you can operate independently, prioritize effectively, and make high-quality decisions with limited structure

What's in it for you:

- A pivotal role in redefining a premium product experience for 250K paying members

- The opportunity to drive product-led growth through design

- A high-impact role in a lean, profitable, founder-led company with real momentum

- Opportunity to build a small team as we scale

- Competitive compensation: $200K-240k base salary plus bonus, 401k and comprehensive benefits

- Free lunch, snacks and gym at the brand new office at 57th and Madison
