Palmetto Jacks Pub at Pawleys Plantation Golf Course is seeking a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Full-Time Bartender & Grill Associate. This dual-role position is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service behind the bar while also supporting grill operations during scheduled shifts. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced golf course environment and delivers friendly, efficient service to members and guests.
Key Responsibilities - Bartending Duties
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and standards
• Provide outstanding customer service to golf members and guests
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws
• Operate POS system accurately for orders and payments
• Create a welcoming, relaxed pub atmosphere
• Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs
• Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines
Schedule
Monday: 12:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Friday: 12:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Sunday: 12:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Additional shifts or flexibility may be required based on business needs, tournaments, or special events.
Qualifications
• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Must meet all legal requirements for alcohol service in South Carolina including certifications
if you do not currently have alcohol certification you will be required to obtain it within first 7 days of employment. Comapny will pay for the one certification
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor service areas
