About the Founder Institute:
The Founder Institute (FI) is the world's largest pre-seed startup accelerator. We’ve helped launch over 7,000 companies in 200 cities globally, which have raised in total over $1.75BN of funding.
We’re looking for Local Leaders to join our global FI network of 500 Local Leaders and 35,000 Mentors in 90 countries and become a FI chapter leader in your city. Our HQ team is based in Silicon Valley and have remote team members across Colorado, New York, Pennsylvania, Bulgaria, India, the U.K, and Brazil. Our success has been documented in the New York Times, BusinessWeek, Forbes, TechCrunch, and more.
About the Role:
Lead a Startup Accelerator with the Founder Institute. Become a Local Leader of the Founder Institute startup accelerator and launch global tech businesses in your city and country.
- Be a Leader in your startup ecosystem
- Manage the operations of a 4-month startup accelerator
- Run regular online webinars and in-person networking events
- Recruit mentors and investors to help your startups
- Mentor early-stage entrepreneurs
- Get equity in the startups you help
Compensation: this role is part-time (6-8 hours per week) and is compensated with equity only.
