Service Plumbing Installer

We are a small, LOCAL owned Plumbing company looking for an experienced service install plumber to join our team. We are ready to hire the right candidate TODAY! At Local Plumbing we work in the Sonoma and Marin area only, we do not cross the Golden Gate Bridge or the Richmond Bridge. The position is Monday-Friday and 40 hours are guaranteed, weekend and overtime schedules are OPTIONAL. We would prefer someone with previous Service Titan experience, so they are able to work independently quickly, but full training will be provided to the right candidate if required. Company van, uniform/boots, iPad/iPhone, gas card, propress tool, drain equipment etc. all supplied from day one.

This is an hourly position, but a full commission based package can be provided for the right candidate.

Required: Minimum of 3 years of residential plumbing experience with a strong background in basic plumbing repairs, water heater installations and sewer/pipe repairs. Drain cleaning – must know how to use all cable machines, and video inspection. Knowledge in installing boilers and heat pumps, along with radiant heating diagnosis are a major plus.

We work in the Sonoma and Marin area only, we do not cross the Golden Gate Bridge or the Richmond Bridge for work.

Your Responsibilities will be:

• Receive dispatch notifications to jobs, write estimates, and convert sold estimates to invoices all on a company-provided iPad
• Provide feedback and contribute to monthly meetings, that involves training and goal setting for the team
• Perform pre-sold work from plumbing technician, such as water heater installs, re-pipes etc.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace all basic plumbing issues promptly, estimate these on the spot and work with our office/customer base to get projects approved
• Water heater repairs & installations. Clogged drains (must know how to use all cable machines), pipe repairs, garbage disposals, toilet replacement & repairs, sink repair & replacement, crawl space & under home repairs, excavation, and sewer mainline repairs
• Provide a clear explanation of diagnosis and proper solution

More requirements:

• Speak fluent English
• Valid Driver’s License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Clean physical appearance and the ability to maintain a clean image from dress code to vehicle cleanliness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
