Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs and assisting with examinations
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team
- Perform basic life support techniques when necessary
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Ensure a high level of patient service and satisfaction
Skills:
- Proficiency in patient care techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Experience with medication administration, including injections and inhalation methods
- Familiarity with basic life support techniques
- Understanding of coding and billing processes in a healthcare setting
- Strong organizational skills to manage medical records and administrative tasks efficiently
