Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain vital signs/history
- Assist providers with patient care
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Handle EMR documentation and patient communication
- Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and follow-ups
- Educate patients on prep instructions and medications
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Gastroenterology or specialty clinic experience a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- EMR experience-Epic experience a plus!
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, professional and friendly personality
- Team player
