What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Finisher position at Foundations First North West LLC?
Position Summary:
Foundations First Northwest is seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Finisher to join our foundation repair team. The ideal candidate has experience working with concrete in residential, commercial, or industrial settings and is proficient in all aspects of the concrete finishing process, from setting forms to finishing and curing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete (e.g., slabs, sidewalks, patios, driveways, etc ) using hand and power tools
- Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete to specified depth and consistency
- Set and align forms to ensure accurate placement
- Apply curing and surface treatments
- Read blueprints, drawings, and plans to determine work requirements
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Familiarity with power tools and finishing equipment
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license rquired - clean driving record
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
- 18 years or older
