Foundations Family Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Community Engagement team. DSPs play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in accessing and participating in their communities while promoting independence, dignity, and meaningful connections.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals in community-based activities (recreational, social, educational, and vocational)
- Assist with developing daily living and social skills
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals at all times
- Provide transportation to and from community outings as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with DBHDS and Medicaid guidelines
- Follow Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and support goals
- Encourage independence, choice, and self-advocacy
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and families
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (required)
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background checks (CPS, APS, Criminal History, and Sex Offender Registry)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required

- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of person-centered practices
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday (Community-based hours; example: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
- Occasional evenings or weekends may be available
