The LifeWorks School in Doylestown, PA is hiring an energetic, collaborative, and experienced School Counselor for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year.
The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in middle and high school effected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. LifeWorks comprehensive educational curriculum is individualized and designed to actively engage each student throughout the day to achieve positive, pro-social behavioral and educational outcomes. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides group counseling on a daily basis to students stressing skill enhancement and emotional health.
- Provides supportive care and guidance for students to achieve success.
- Writes monthly reports and narrative notes.
- Facilitates teacher understanding of emotional issues effecting classroom performance.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in School or Professional Counseling with certification required.
- Master’s Degree in Professional and School Counseling from accredited college or university preferred.
- Clinically supervised education/training in individual, group and family therapy with LPC credential preferred.
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
- Two years experience in a special education school or a school working with adolescents exhibiting emotional and behavioral issues is preferred.
