Join us as we continue this important work to uphold the value of community colleges in building a brighter future.

What You’ll Do

The FoundationCCC’s Workforce Development Department (WDD) aims to ensure that all learners in California obtain the knowledge, skills, experiences, and networks needed to connect with meaningful work, expand career options, and increase economic and social mobility. WDD works in four primary areas (1) building capacity within K-12, college, apprenticeship, and workforce development systems to effectively serve learners and businesses; (2) serving as employer-of-record for paid work experience; (3) providing wraparound services resource development support; and (4) developing work-based learning models, tools, and technologies. This work is grounded in a commitment to strengthening systems connectivity, promoting career-relevant, learner-centric education and workforce solutions, and eliminating equity gaps in California.

The Senior Coordinator will focus on our WDD grants administration projects, which bring funding to awardees on behalf of state and local partner agencies. The Senior Coordinator will support the execution of contracts with awardees, maintain accurate records for grants administration projects, support project management activities, and review grantee data for accuracy.

  • Perform advanced review and validation of data within grants management databases and spreadsheets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with submitted documentation, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed with excellent attention to detail
  • Support project management for large-scale grant initiatives, including coordination of tasks in project management software, maintaining record keeping systems, managing and triaging emails received through general mailboxes, and supporting schedule coordination.
  • Execute and coordinate clear and professional outreach efforts to grantees and payment recipients, partnering with senior project leads while proactively supporting communication, issue resolution, and process continuity

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Human-centered customer service concepts and practices
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong judgment and decision-making skills, appropriately balancing independent problem-solving with timely escalation to management when needed.

  • Innovation, creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurship are encouraged as employees work to achieve organizational goals
  • FoundationCCC blends the impact of a non-profit, the culture of an entrepreneurial start-up, and the scale of a state agency
