The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining accurate inventory levels across all warehouse operations. This role ensures proper documentation, control, and flow of materials in and out of the branch. The Inventory Manager plays a key part in optimizing warehouse efficiency, minimizing inventory discrepancies, and supporting procurement efforts through consistent and accurate reporting.

The Inventory Manager plays a key part in optimizing warehouse efficiency, minimizing inventory discrepancies, and supporting procurement efforts through consistent and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Manage all incoming transfers to the branch, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates.
- Maintain and update the Zap Sheet and Warehouse Use Sheet to track internal usage and adjustments.
- Place orders for drywall, mud, and other materials not handled by the Purchasing team.
- Perform PORR (Process Order Reconciliation Report) Stage 5 and 6 clean-up to ensure order accuracy and closure.
- Oversee Non-Stock inventory clean-up, addressing any misplaced or incorrectly logged items.
- Monitor and execute clean-up of slow-moving and dead stock to optimize warehouse space and value.
- Coordinate and manage all end-of-month transfers, both incoming and outgoing, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Resolve any Transfer Exceptions, correcting discrepancies between sending and receiving branches.
- Maintain and manage accurate bin locations for all products, supporting efficient picking and stocking processes.
- Receive and process purchase orders (POs) for stock materials, ensuring all deliveries are logged correctly and discrepancies are addressed.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in inventory systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and accountability
- After receipt of conditional offer of employment, must be able to pass drug screen/physical/background check.
