Foundation Building Materials (FBM), is currently seeking an enthusiastic Quoting Coordinator to round out our team in the Fridley, MN area.
Quoting Coordinator Professionals are a talented group of individuals that are capable of handling front counter sales focusing on customer relationship, managing sales of the company’s products and services, tracking, investigating and reporting sales information providing customer service while interfacing with external vendors. The Quoting Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and expanding our sales activities to support our fast-growing business.

Essential Quoting Coordinator Functions/Qualifications/Education:
- Maintains all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations, based on branch preferences; including manufactures and profit margin.
- Prepare quotes, contracts and responses for current and potential customers for all assigned branches.
- Fax or mail submittals, material specs and pricing to the customer.
- Ensure quotes are completed in a timely manner and are accurate to meet the customer requirements.
- Help build a strong and evolving relationship between key accounts based on identifying customer needs and communicating throughout the branch
- Comfortable with reading specifications and determining what products to use
- inside sales experience, and quotation experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated/goal oriented
- Ability to handle a highly deadline-driven environment
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Organization and time management skills
- Professional and courteous ongoing contact with customers before, during and after a sale.
- Includes: taking phone orders and walk-in customers
- Stays current and communicates on market conditions, industry trends, new product information, and company activities.
- Participates in job tracking and follow-up as requested.
- Make phone calls to all current house accounts to help improve relationships.
- Follow up on and close bids within guidelines.
- Comply with all Company requirements for accurate administrative reporting.
- Establishes, maintains and communicates sales issues with direct manager.
- Maintain knowledge of management software, comfortable with excel.
- Maintain proper project details, documentation, and orders for specific large projects.
- Acts as a liaison between customer and credit department when necessary.
- Support Our Foundation in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers.
