Job Summary
The Service Advisor is the main point of contact between customers and the service department. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their vehicle concerns, recommending services, and ensuring repairs are completed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
Explain recommended maintenance and repair services in a clear, honest way
Prepare service estimates and obtain customer approval
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate repairs
Provide updates to customers on service status
Review completed work with customers and answer questions
Maintain accurate records and invoices
Deliver a positive, stress-free customer experience
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in customer service (automotive experience preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Basic automotive knowledge or willingness to learn
Proficiency with computer systems and service software
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
