Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our growing team. The therapist will provide individualized evaluations and treatment for children with various diagnoses, including but not limited to:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD)
- Developmental Delays
- Intellectual Disabilities
- Feeding and Oral Motor Challenges
- Fine and Gross Motor Coordination Difficulties
- Self-regulation and Functional Daily Living Skills
This position involves travel to clients’ homes, schools, and community settings within the service area. The ideal candidate is flexible, organized, and passionate about helping children develop the skills they need for success in everyday life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver high-quality, family-centered therapy services in natural environments.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support generalization of skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and professional development activities.
- Provide caregiver education and training to reinforce therapy goals at home and in the community.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Washington State OT License.
- NBCOT certification in good standing.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
- Ability to travel to client sites within designated service area.
- Preferred:
- Experience working with children with autism, sensory processing, developmental and intellectual disabilities, and feeding needs.
- Knowledge of evidence-based pediatric OT approaches (e.g., sensory integration, SOS feeding, DIR/Floortime).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
