Purpose of the Position: This role involves packaging, palletizing, and moving products in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Assemble boxes and prepare packaging materials
- Stage empty pallets for palletizing; and palletize completed boxes onto pallets
- Troubleshoot and adjust tape machines and coders are needed
- Transfer pallets of ingredients, materials, trash, and other items between the production floor and staging areas as required
- At the end of the shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties, and complete all required paperwork
- Operate basic equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools required to perform task
- Must be able to perform all job functions safely
- Must meet the company standards and line speed requirements for the job
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must be able to understand and follow all written SOPs (Standard Operations Procedures)
- Must be able to understand and comply with SDSs (Safety Data Sheets)
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Must be able to obtain mobile certification.
- Reading and writing in English, may be required.
