Foster Plumbing, a Crete United Company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead execution across tenant improvement and special projects. This role is built for someone who understands fast-paced construction environments where multiple smaller projects are moving at once and success comes from strong coordination, field leadership, and attention to detail.
You’ll manage a portfolio of active TI projects, working closely with field teams, estimators, and general contractors to ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on role with direct visibility into both field execution and project performance.
What You’ll Do
Project Execution & Field Leadership
- Manage multiple tenant improvements and special projects from kickoff through completion
- Coordinate field teams and subcontractors to meet schedule, quality, and safety expectations
- Perform jobsite visits, oversee installation progress, and support project close-out and turnover
- Monitor daily project activity and proactively resolve issues impacting schedule or execution
Scheduling & Coordination
- Build and manage project schedules across multiple active jobs
- Ensure field teams have clear scope, materials, and job information prior to execution
- Coordinate permits, inspections, and vendor support to keep projects moving
Project Financials & Documentation
- Execute and track change orders, RFIs, and job documentation in Simpro
- Monitor labor and project performance against budget and timelines
- Support timely and accurate project billing and closeout
- Maintain clear documentation to support project tracking and reduce risk
Team Leadership
- Lead and support technicians to ensure quality work and strong jobsite performance
- Provide direction, coaching, and accountability across field teams
- Ensure adherence to company standards, safety practices, and processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Preconstruction and Operations to align project approach and future workload
- Provide field feedback to improve estimating accuracy and project planning
- Maintain strong communication with general contractors and internal teams
Client & GC Coordination
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with general contractors and project stakeholders
- Ensure clear, timely communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Support repeat business through consistent execution and reliability
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience in plumbing or mechanical project management, ideally within tenant improvement / light commercial construction
- Experience managing multiple smaller projects simultaneously (fast-paced environment)
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, installation methods, and construction workflows
- Ability to manage schedules, labor, and project documentation effectively
- Experience working with general contractors and coordinating across trades
- Proficiency with project management systems (Simpro or similar preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
