You will be directly involved in:

• Developing relationships with various suppliers including industrial accounts, dealers, and local businesses.
• Analyzing market trends to strategically purchase scrap metal, aligning with company goals.
• Maintaining meticulous records of transactions and supplier interactions, ensuring transparency and compliance.
• Traveling within a designated radius to engage with suppliers and evaluate their offerings.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of metal types, grades, and industry pricing.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

• Preferred: High School diploma or GED; further education in business is beneficial.
• Minimum of four years' experience in metal recycling or a related field.
• Proven track record in purchasing and supplier management within the metal recycling industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
