Front End Loader Operator (Halifax, NC)

Job Description

• To load trucks keep facility clean operational loading shred and fluff The basic function of the Loader Operator is to lift and move and ensuring customer and employee safety.

Requirements

• Preferred: A High School Diploma or GED
• Must have corrected vision that meets same requirements as a valid driver’s license
• Have coordination between eyes, hands, and feet
• Must be able to understand signs, labels, and instructions.
• Physical Requirements: the employee will utilize body movements of twisting, bending, reaching, and using the hands and arms. The ability to pick up items in a maximum weight of 45 pounds to the height of five feet.

Principle Duties

• Operate the loader in a manner always ensuring safety for themselves, the customers, and their co-workers. Adhere to all company safety policies, rules, and regulations.
• Lift, move, and position vehicles as needed
• Service and maintain loader daily
• Ensure that the flow of traffic is handled as safely and quickly as possible
• Ensures that the working area is kept in a neat, orderly, clean, and hazard free condition
• Ensure the draining process is staying caught up w/no back log of vehicles.
• Performs other duties and tasks assigned by the Location Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
