Air Operation Agent

Position: Operations Air Agent

Compensation:  $33.00 per hour

Available Schedule:  Sunday - Thursday, 5:30 PM - 2:30 PM

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Ensure import/export processes are completed in compliance with all applicable regulations and procedures

• Work within the Aviation Vertical AOG Operations team to complete shipments from start to finish

• Review and identify areas to maximize profitability 

• Maintain and develop customer relationships 

• Ensure all billing is carried out within a timely fashion and monitor input of purchase costs into the system to enable accurate billing and profit reporting

• Ensure quotations are responded to in a timely fashion dependent on customer requirements

• Ensure all mandatory training is completed within the required time frames 

• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Import/Export experience essential

• Proven industry experience

• Solid background in US Customs law and procedures

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

• Dangerous Goods Compliant an advantage

• The ability to work proactively using own initiative

• Proven communication skills, both written and verbal

• Previous experience dealing with a varied customer base

• Capacity to build strong relationships

• Ability to consider several possible options and decide on most appropriate method

• IT skills to an appropriate level

• Excellent process and planning skills

• Strong commercial awareness; Understands impact of actions
