ARE YOU ONE OF US?

This position is responsible for assisting dispatchers with assignment of routes and dispatching of drivers to obtain optimum use of facilities, equipment, and drivers.

Requirements:

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end trucking operations, including driver dispatch, pickup and delivery scheduling, and inbound/outbound dock activities.
• Assign and monitor drivers for local and regional routes, ensuring on-time performance, compliance, and efficient route planning.
• Communicate closely with warehouse teams to align loading/unloading priorities and verify shipment accuracy.
• Provide exceptional customer service, handling daily shipment inquiries, updates, and issue resolution with professionalism.
• Collaborate with billing and compliance teams to ensure timely document uploads, accurate system updates, and adherence to operational procedures.
• Maintain and update shipment and inventory records in internal and external systems, including delivery status, PODs, and cargo movements.
• Investigate and resolve shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies, coordinating corrective actions with drivers and warehouse staff.
• Promote effective communication among drivers, warehouse personnel, and operations teams to ensure safety, accuracy, and consistent service quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce idle time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall operations.
• Assist dispatchers with delivery arrangements and transportation routes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of experience in trucking field.
• Excellent crisis management skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task and to prioritize in a fast paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills and professional e-mail etiquette.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• High school graduate required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin) is required.
