Overview
We are hiring and training entry-level Sleep Technicians to run in-lab sleep studies. This role follows a structured pathway to become a Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) and ultimately a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
No prior sleep experience required — we will train the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and monitor patients during overnight sleep studies
- Apply sensors and ensure high-quality data collection
- Observe and document sleep activity
- Work under supervision of a licensed technologist
- Learn sleep medicine through hands-on training
Training & Career Path
- Louisiana Sleep Technician Permit (12 months)
- CPSGT eligibility within ~3 months (~400 hours)
- Progression to RPSGT (advanced certification)
Compensation
- Starting pay: $17–$20/hr night shift differential ($2–$4/hr)
- Increase to $22–$25/hr upon CPSGT certification
- Growth to $28–$34/hr as an RPSGT
- Certification bonuses available
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Healthcare experience preferred (CNA, MA, RT, etc.)
- Comfortable working overnight shifts
