Sales and Marketing Specialist – Sleep & Neurology Referrals

We are currently seeking a part-time Marketing & Outreach Specialist who is passionate about healthcare, thrives in a collaborative environment, and excels at building strong relationships within the medical community.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday- Friday
- Pay: $21–$25 per hour
- Location: Local outreach within the Tidewater region
- Focus: Generating referrals for both sleep medicine and neurology services
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct face-to-face and virtual outreach to physicians, office staff, and referral sources
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physician practices (e.g., cardiology, pulmonology, primary care), and other healthcare providers
- Coordinate meetings between our physicians and local providers
- Distribute marketing materials and introduce our services to nearby practices
- Track all outreach and communication activities in our CRM system
- Collaborate with internal departments to share feedback and improve service delivery
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and handle sensitive information with discretion
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships
- Self-motivated, organized, and efficient with time
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Willing to work a consistent part-time schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in healthcare, medical sales, DME, CPAP, or sleep medicine
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
- 1–3 years of sales experience (B2B, B2C, or field-based)
Employment Requirements:
- Background check
- Drug screening (if applicable)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Compliance with healthcare credentialing processes (if required)
