Position Summary
We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with experience in sleep medicine or a strong interest in learning the field. The PA-C will work closely with a fellowship-trained supervising physician who practices full-time sleep medicine. This role involves treatment planning and management of patients with chronic sleep disorders, requiring excellent communication skills, compassion, and a patient-centered approach.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits for sleep-related conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans under physician supervision
- Educate patients on sleep disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality care
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Arizona PA License
Preferred:
- 1 year experience with EMR systems
- Prior experience in sleep medicine or willingness to undergo training
