We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills.
The Lumber Jack Lodge is a division of Forward Corporation, a fifth-generation family-owned business located in Standish, MI. Our award-winning Lumber Jack Lodge in West Branch delivers terrific value to travelers looking to relax and focus on the people and experiences they seek. Our conveniently located hotel is just off I-75 and includes an on-site restaurant, indoor pool and hot tub, and a gift shop facilities.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check guests in and out efficiently
- Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the hotel facilities and services
- Assist guests with reservations and requests
- Manage phone calls and reservations effectively
- Process payments and maintain guest accounts
- Perform night audit duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on exceeding customer expectations
- Knowledge of front desk operations and procedures
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Hospitality or Hotel Management background is advantageous
