Forward Bank in Three Lakes/ St. Germain seeks an outgoing, service-oriented individual for a full time Universal Banker to float between the two offices. The Universal Banker is focused on building customer relationships and providing exceptional service, while assisting customers with various financial transactions ranging from deposits and new accounts to consumer loans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process checking and savings account transactions, loan payments, cash advance transactions and redemption of savings bonds. Verify and balance cash drawer.
- Perform all activities related to opening and closing various types of deposit accounts, including savings, checking, CDs, IRAs, etc.
- Assist customers with various inquiries regarding their accounts, transactions, reconciliations, debit card items, safe deposit boxes, wire transactions, consumer loans, etc.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities with an emphasis on establishing client relationships. Promote, explain and sell retail banking and consumer loan products to meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Finance or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of related experience in a financial services role. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Positive attitude with superior customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
- Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Good computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
