Essential Functions
- Place/stack bundled mail on pallets.
- Operate electric floor jack to move skids.
- Feed strapping, plastic wrap, and bottom wrap machines.
- Assist in staging mailroom equipment before production runs.
- Load various feed stations; occasionally hand feed.
- Palletize products as they run off the machines.
- Occasionally responsible for housekeeping duties.
- Abide by all OSHA regulations and the lockout/tagout program, as well as other established company safety policies.
- Maintain prompt and reliable attendance.
- Mechanical skills and computer knowledge are preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to other employees of the organization.

- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, lifting, handling and moving items.
- Ability to stoop, bend, push and pull items.
- Requires full use of hands, arms, finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Occasionally required to lift and /or move up to 50 lbs.
- Physically able to operate machinery.
- Frequent exposure to vibration, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock.
- Works in a printing plant environment. Work with moving machinery and hazardous materials such as inks and solvents. Exposure to loud noises and moving mechanical parts.
