Fortune Logistics is seeking a Customer Account Manager for our Sioux Falls, SD branch. In this full time, salaried position, the Customer Account Specialist will work directly with the Vice President of Customer Success to ensure a seamless Customer experience while utilizing shared resources and systems.
Candidate MUST have a minimum of 2 years experience in the Freight Industry, with preference given to candidates coming from a large industry brokerage (such as CH Robinson, XPO or GIX Logistics) or a Food Product Manufacturer (such as Tyson, Smithfield, or Hormel).
Candidate MUST consider themselves an "A" player and can show examples of going above and beyond in their current position or past positions throughout their working career. This position requires working with high level leadership and executives who rely on "self-starters" to ask difficult questions and solve complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Work with VP of Customer Success to improve, retain, and attract new portfolio customers
- Look for process and efficiency improvements in our Sioux Falls hub location.
- Successfully plan and execute bidding/RFP strategies in a timely manner
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with all departments of the organization to support a strong team environment.
Qualifications
*2 Years of Freight Brokerage or Food Shipper experience is REQUIRED.
*No Remote Candidates, must be able to work in-office which is located in downtown Sioux Falls
- Strong organizational and logistics aptitude is required.
- Strong communicator and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of computer applications such MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Comfortability with giving presentations/public speaking.
- A-Player, Self Starter, ability to solve complex problems in a very efficient manner.
- Able to motivate others in a positive manner.
Salary: $45,000.00-$60,000.00/yr
