Position Summary:
The Beverage Server is responsible for delivering a high-quality service experience to our guests. This involves providing prompt and courteous beverage service in a defined and efficient manner. The Beverage Server is responsible for maintaining a secure and accurate bank at all times and ensuring a clean and safe work station.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
The Beverage Server is responsible for the following duties:
- Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Attend department meetings.
- Assist guests in selecting and recommending beverages, ensuring they are satisfied with their choices.
- Serve beverages in accordance with established procedures to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked beverage station, ensuring the area is organized and functional at all times.
- Monitor and report any inventory shortages or issues to management promptly.
- Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines, ensuring guests are not over-served.
- Collect payments and process transactions using the appropriate payment methods.
- Check ID’s.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the assigned outlet.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of casino promotions, events, and amenities to assist guests with information and recommendations as needed.
- Continuously reinforce the casino's "responsible gaming" message to guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Attend mandatory TIPS training and attain certification.
- Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted money; keep bank secure at all times.
- Remove empty bottles, glasses, etc., from tables and in between machines.
- Clearly communicate last call at designated closing time to guests.
- Stay in section and be visible to customers-keep section neat and clean.
- Know when and how to cut someone off in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
