What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beverage Server position at SEVENWINDS CASINO,LODGE AND CONFERENCE CENTER?
Basic purpose or function: To professionally dispense alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take drink orders in a friendly manner while moving about the gaming floor.
- Make the guests feel comfortable and welcome.
- Never argue with a guest
- Proper service to all guests
- Smile and be courteous and friendly.
- Be knowledgeable about Casino functions and give accurate information.
- Prepare and pay for all ordered drinks.
- Ensure all work areas including the bar are properly stocked and cleaned to the highest standards.
- Report all concerns to beverage supervisor in writing or verbally to insure proper action.
- Must observe and communicate to supervisors any customer that is near or in the “Need to decline service category.”
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a bartender license.
- Good sense of responsibility and self-motivated
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Be able to carry serving trays of beverage.
- Be able to make change (count money)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexible schedule when needed.
- Successfully complete Title 31 training
