We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead our nursing team and ensure compliance with state and federal assisted living regulations. This role is ideal for a passionate leader who values teamwork, excellence in care, and continuous improvement.

Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN) ensures that the health care needs of all residents are met in accordance with their care plans and the Assisted Living License requirements. This position oversees staff training, supervises service delivery, maintains compliance with state regulations, and upholds Fortunate Homes LLC’s high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight & Compliance

• Ensure all nursing and assisted living services comply with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assisted living policies and best practices.
• Conduct resident assessments and reassessments to ensure needs are being met.
• Develop, review, and revise care plans and service agreements as needed.
• Investigate and report incidents of suspected neglect or abuse per company and state procedures.

Medication & Health Management

• Monitor medication administration for accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and other providers regarding resident needs.
• Review and update medication records and ensure proper documentation.
• Supervise infection control and tuberculosis (TB) compliance programs.

Leadership & Staff Supervision

• Supervise, train, and evaluate nursing and unlicensed personnel.
• Provide competency testing and ongoing in-service education (minimum 8 hours/year).
• Ensure staff adherence to policies and procedures and provide corrective coaching as needed.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work culture.

Communication & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records, assessments, and reports.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and care partners.
• Participate in staff meetings and interdisciplinary care planning.
• Be available for on-call support during emergencies or resident condition changes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of Minnesota.
• Minimum 3 years of related nursing experience, preferably in assisted living or long-term care.
• Valid driver’s license (if driving is required).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Compassionate, dependable, and adaptable to changing needs.
• Ability to use computers or tablets for electronic charting and communication.
