Fortress Safety is looking for a Safety Services Specialist to bring deep machinery safety standards knowledge and expertise to our customers, our teams and the wider industry. Reporting to the Product Director, you'll educate, advise and support the growth of Fortress as we deliver on our purpose of saving lives by providing the best safety solutions. This is a genuine opportunity to shape how the industry thinks about machinery safety compliance and training.

Safety Services Specialist

About The Opportunity
Fortress Safety is looking for a Safety Services Specialist to bring deep machinery safety standards knowledge and expertise to our customers, our teams and the wider industry. Reporting to the Product Director, you'll educate, advise and support the growth of Fortress as we deliver on our purpose of saving lives by providing the best safety solutions. This is a genuine opportunity to shape how the industry thinks about machinery safety compliance and training.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drive internal and external activity that positions Fortress as a trusted safety authority, including site visits, webinars, and standards and technical workshops
- Create content and deliver first-class training on B11 to educate the wider workforce on machinery safety related standards
- Support the development of a Fortress training academy proposition
- Partner with Product Management and Marketing to translate technical and regulatory content into accessible, engaging customer-facing training materials
- Support New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) activity, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are designed in from concept through to launch
- Proven machinery safety standards knowledge and application expertise
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience as an effective trainer with the ability to make the complex simple
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance
- A meticulous approach, with a continuous improvement mindset
- The ability to lead and influence without formal authority
- A university degree or equivalent experience gained on the job
