Position Overview
Fortra Law is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media & Content Coordinator to support the execution of our digital content strategy across multiple brands, including Fortra Law, Fortra Conferences, and Lender Lounge. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong understanding of social media trends, and is passionate about creating engaging content that drives growth and brand awareness.
We’re looking for someone who is highly skilled in social media, confident in creating short-form video content (including reels), and comfortable producing live, on-the-ground content at in-person events and conferences.
This is a primarily remote role, however, candidates must be based in Orange County, CA, as occasional in-person support will be required at our Irvine headquarters for content filming, production, and collaboration, as well as attendance at live events.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage and maintain social media accounts across Fortra Law, Fortra Conferences, and Lender Lounge
- Plan and manage each brand’s content calendar aligned with firm priorities, events, and campaigns
- Write, schedule, and publish content using Zoho Social
- Ensure a consistent and strategic posting cadence across all platforms
Content Creation
- Create and edit short-form video content optimized for social platforms, including reels and other trending formats
- Capture and produce live content at conferences, events, and on-site activations
- Provide in-office support for content filming, production, and coordination as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to bring content ideas to life
Engagement & Growth
- Monitor comments, messages, and mentions across platforms
- Engage with followers and relevant industry accounts to build visibility, community, and brand loyalty
- Support initiatives aimed at increasing followers and overall engagement
- Stay informed on social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes
Brand Support
- Assist in developing and maintaining attorney profile content
- Ensure all content aligns with Fortra Law’s brand voice and messaging standards
Analytics & Reporting
- Track key performance metrics including follower growth, engagement, and reach
- Analyze content performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Prepare regular reports to evaluate social media effectiveness
Additional Responsibilities
- Review graphics and content for accuracy, quality, and brand alignment
- Support content production efforts for Western Lawman and Lender Lounge initiatives
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Proven experience creating short-form video content (Reels, TikTok-style, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (Zoho Social preferred)
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working in both remote and in-person environments, including live events
Preferred
- Understanding of personal branding and thought leadership content
- Marketing or Communications degree
Compensation: $26 - $28 an hour
