This role supports the management team with timely and accurate financial and management reporting. The Assistant Controller-Manufacturing will prepare internal and external financial reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and be the lead with ensuring that the manufacturing divisions financial statements are complete and accurate. The position will ensure that all inventory accounting and cost of goods sales activity has been recorded properly. This role will be active with system integration efforts combined with lean manufacturing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with US GAAP. Ensure data submitted in accordance with deadlines, appropriate reviews have been performed, results are complete, accurate and delivered timely to key stakeholders.
- Be a driving force to improve systems and efficiency as the Finance lead with systems integration projects – migration of manufacturing accounting from Navision to IQMS and commercial accounting from Navision to LN Infor.
- Maintain cycle count programs at locations and organize annual physical inventory at multiple locations.
- Ensure that the Gross Margin for the manufacturing divisions is accurate by working with division finance leaders and the Corporate Controller.
- Assist with modifying revenue recognition treatment from percentage of completion to actual revenue when product is shipped.
- Prepare the monthly trial balances and internal financial statements.
- Review monthly journal entries and ensure all monthly reconciliations are completed.
- Provide variance analysis and commentary on balance sheet and income statement changes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Contribute to internal and external audits providing requested supporting documentation and reporting related to the consolidation process and SOX controls.
- Bachelor's Degree

Salary : $100,700 - $151,100
