Construction Scheduler
Location: Denver, CO

About the Opportunity
A highly respected construction and project advisory firm is seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler. This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-profile projects across a diverse portfolio while playing a critical role in planning, schedule management, project controls, and delivery strategy.
The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, owners, consultants, and contractors to develop and maintain project schedules, assess project risks, analyze delays, and support successful project outcomes through proactive planning and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules throughout all phases of construction.
- Create baseline, resource-loaded, and cost-loaded schedules aligned with project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular schedule updates, identifying risks, delays, and critical path impacts.
- Perform schedule impact assessments related to change orders, variations, and project modifications.
- Conduct Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and support delay claims and entitlement reviews.
- Collaborate with project managers, owners, contractors, and consultants on all scheduling-related matters.
- Evaluate alternative construction sequencing and delivery approaches through scenario and "what-if" analysis.
- Support project teams in developing mitigation strategies, recovery plans, and schedule improvement initiatives.
- Prepare schedule narratives, monthly progress reports, and executive-level updates.
- Develop reporting dashboards and performance metrics to track key milestones and project health.
- Maintain quality assurance and consistency across all scheduling deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to add value and improve project outcomes through proactive planning and analysis.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of operating within complex construction environments while effectively communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Proven experience as a Construction Scheduler, Project Controls Specialist, or similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, project controls, and project lifecycles.
- Experience supporting delay analysis, claims, change management, and schedule recovery efforts.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, ASTA Powerproject, or similar scheduling platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present schedule data clearly and confidently to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
