We are representing a leading construction consultancy seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a major financial services client on high-profile real estate and capital projects across New York City.
This position will see you embedded on the client side, overseeing the full lifecycle of projects ranging from corporate interiors and refurbishments to complex capital improvements within an active banking environment.
The Role
Acting as the client’s representative, you will take ownership of projects from early planning and design coordination through to construction delivery and closeout. You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are executed efficiently, aligned with business objectives, and delivered within schedule and budget constraints.
This role requires someone who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on level — managing stakeholders, driving decision-making, and identifying opportunities to improve project outcomes and deliver added value.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end project delivery across multiple concurrent assignments
- Managing budgets, contracts, and financial performance throughout the lifecycle
- Coordinating design teams, consultants, and contractors
- Overseeing procurement, bidding, and contract administration processes
- Monitoring project progress, risks, and performance against key milestones
- Facilitating stakeholder meetings and driving clear communication across all parties
- Supporting governance, reporting, and internal client approvals within a corporate environment
