Job Summary

Fortified Health Security is healthcare’s recognized leader in cybersecurity – protecting patient data and reducing risk throughout the Fortified ecosystem. We provide a wide variety of purpose-built services to help healthcare organizations evaluate their unique risk appetite, strengthen their cybersecurity posture, and improve operations along their security journey. In this role as a Business Development Representative, the candidate chosen will be responsible for sales and revenue growth through designated outbound activities. The Business Development Representative will bring high energy, initiative, and seek to be on the front lines of driving lead generation, qualification of opportunities, and ultimately providing these leads to our Regional Sales Directors for conversion of opportunities to meet Fortified’s revenue growth targets.

Essential Job Functions

  1. • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Directors and execute outbound playbooks at scale.
  2. • Strategically contact accounts to qualify and schedule discovery calls and demos for Regional Sales Directors that initiate a qualified opportunity.
  3. • Build relationships with prospects and execute organized follow-up with the Fortified sales tech stack to create a robust pipeline.
  4. • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly metrics to assist in growing revenue in assigned territories.
  5. • Coordinate with the marketing team to execute strategic campaigns and attend conferences and events to generate interest and develop leads on an as needed basis.
  6. • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute custom outreach based on their ongoing initiatives.

Education & Experience

  1. • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  2. • Experience in outbound sales, cold calling, qualifying leads, and preferably positioning IT security products/services.
  3. • Experience selling in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Special Skills & Knowledge

• Ability to identify and build relationships with key leaders as well as the ability to identify opportunities based on prospects pain points.

• Work collaboratively in a team-based environment and execute upon interdepartmental strategy.

• Self-motivated, goal-driven with strong work ethic and a desire to start a career in sales.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Curiosity and passion about cybersecurity services and a demonstrated commitment to the industry.

• Approaching the sales workflow with a sense of urgency and a hunger to excel in the role is a requirement of this role.

• Experience using Salesforce, Outreach, a B2B contact database and LinkedIn Sales Navigator a plus.

Compensation Plan

• Eligible for incentive plan

Working Conditions & Travel Requirements

• Must be located in Nashville, TN and able to come into the office on average 2-3 days a week.
