Utility Maintenance

Pay and Shift

Pay: $19.00/h

Shift: Flexible (24-32 hours)

• Monitor and remove waste from production workstations and dispose of materials in the appropriate waste streams.
• Sort scrap materials and load designated trailers using a forklift.
• Sweep and maintain production areas, exterior grounds, and the area surrounding the sawdust trailer.
• Perform general facility housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities as directed.
• Support the installation, repair, and upkeep of facility equipment and property.
• Assist with painting, minor building repairs, and other general maintenance projects as assigned.
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE and maintain a safe work environment.
• Support other team members through collaboration and communication.
• Day-to-day direction provided by supervisor.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

Physical Requirements And Preferred Qualifications

• One year of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and twisting throughout the shift.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
