What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Utility position at SEVENWINDS CASINO,LODGE AND CONFERENCE CENTER?
Basic purpose or function: This position provides assistance where needed in the Kitchen while maintaining the established quality, service, and sanitary standards
Job Duties:
- Change in to provided uniform including appropriate hair covering.
- Always maintain proper sanitary practices such as proper handwashing, proper use of single use gloves, and storage of food properly.
- Reports to the supervisor on duty for daily assignment.
- Prepare and maintain equipment following business demand, quality, and proper sanitation practices. Report any malfunction to the Supervisor.
- Prepare the workstation for the shift, follow directions as provided, close the workstation once shift is complete.
- Maintain a clean and neat work area following sanitary measures
- Demonstrate effective teamwork. Prepare, cook, portion and serve items per established portions.
- Operate dish machine following sanitary standards.
- Complete cleaning responsibilities and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Report any concerns that arise to a supervisor and complete any written documentation if asked to do so.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
