Essential Functions
Product & Requirements Ownership
Facilitate discussions with users and stakeholders to translate needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with product roadmap priorities.
Serve as a subject matter expert in warehouse lending to ensure product features and system enhancements reflect industry workflows, risk considerations, and client needs.
Solution Design & Systems Analysis
Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to define scalable system solutions, including system configurations, integrations, and process improvements.
Develop detailed process flows, data mappings, and functional specifications to support development and implementation.
Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce operational complexity, and enhance system performance.
Delivery & Execution Support
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) as a key contributor to sprint execution.
Support development teams during build cycles by clarifying requirements, resolving ambiguities, and ensuring alignment with intended outcomes.
Partner with QA to validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Data Analysis & Decision Support
Apply data-driven analysis to evaluate business processes, identify trends, and support product and operational decision-making.
Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
8 years of experience in business and/or systems analysis, with increasing ownership in complex environments
4 years of experience within the financial services sector
Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, user story development, and process modeling
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate ambiguity into structured solutions
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Visio, and process documentation tools
Experience working in Agile environments, with active participation in Scrum or Kanban frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience in Mortgage Warehouse Lending technology
Experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting lending platforms
Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence, including workflow/configuration management
Experience with loan origination systems (e.g., Encompass, Empower)
Ability to support distributed teams, including participation in offshore collaboration
