Job Title: Business Analyst – Network Infrastructure

Location: Denver, CO OR St. Louis, MO; 4 days onsite, 1 day remote

Duration: Long term contract w/ potential to go full time

Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support initiatives across both customer and corporate network environments for a leading telecommunications organization. This role will partner with project managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to support network infrastructure and data center-related projects, including greenfield initiatives. The Business Analyst will focus on requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder coordination to enable successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements
  • Support project teams by coordinating between stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership
  • Analyze existing processes and assist in identifying improvements or efficiencies
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including:
    • Business requirements documents (BRDs)
    • Functional requirements
    • Process flows and gaps
  • Assist in tracking project progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
  • Support testing and validation efforts to ensure requirements are met
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across project teams

Example Project Exposure

The Business Analyst may support initiatives such as:

  • Load balancer certification and automation processes
  • Network inventory migration or implementation efforts
  • Private cloud network buildouts

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT or infrastructure projects
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure or data center environments
  • Ability to gather and translate business needs into clear requirements
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in telecommunications or large enterprise environments
  • Exposure to network-related concepts (routing, switching, load balancing)
  • Familiarity with standard BA tools and methodologies (e.g., process mapping, requirements documentation)

What This Role Is NOT

  • This role is not focused on application development or software product delivery
  • Candidates with only software-focused BA experience without infrastructure exposure may not be a fit
